The Wellbeing in Mind Team are an NHS service who work within Woodlands Academy to provide mental health advice and support to pupils, staff and parents. A key role of the WIMT is to provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues. The WIMT are also available to support the senior mental health lead to develop their whole school approach and support Woodlands Academy to work towards their Schools Wellbeing Award. Furthermore, the WIMT are there to provide advice and support to staff and pupils, as well as liaising with professionals to give each and every young person the opportunity for timely mental health support throughout their time at Woodlands Academy.
